Another couple of weeks has gone by and still the Guzzi hasnt turned up.
Its been a bit of a night mare really, and although Im sure that Paul Dedman could not of done anyhting about it, its none the less a bit fustrating.
Anyway, after a lot of emails going back and forth, and looking at different bikes, alternative Guzzi’s and considering giving the whole thing up as a bad job, I have it in good promise that the bike will be here this week.
We have the frame number and we have the registration number. The bike has now been insured with my new insurance company for an extra 30 quid on top of the Suzuki insurance, so really it just need taxing and picking up as soon as it lands.
Im not holding my breath just yet, but it feels like we might be at the end of the tunnel waiting for it.
In other news, it is of course TT fortnight at the moment and there is the usual shop up the grandsatand, including the Dainese shop.
Having seen a jacket I quite liked (the Strips Pelle in black) I went ahead to ask about prices. They have a deal on at the moment that allows for you to trade old kit for new, at a 25% discount.
So got close to £100 off the jacket which was nice, whats even nicer is that my folks offered to pay for it as an early birthday present. Dont I just have the nicest parents in the world. Go see them at http://www.trishandjohn.co.uk
