In the constant fight against spyware and malware (I dont mean Virus’s here), I recommend the following three clean-up tools.
Vipre Rescue – a command line scanner that works at a very low level in safemode: http://live.sunbeltsoftware.com/
Super AntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
All three are free for scanning and clean up and all three do a really good job.
Thats not to say that getting a decent known windows AV product in the first place will be a better move than having to try and clean up an infection, but if the worst does happen…
