WSS2 and WSS3 authentication issues with SBS2003

This issue isnt specific to the above servers or services however it has certainly happened on more than one SBS box to be so far.

You may experience authentication issues browsing http://companyweb on SBS 2003 and SBS 2008 servers after installing the cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (963027) or Internet Explorer 8.0.

The quick solution is to simply uninstall 963027, but to be honest, anyone that installs an Internet Explorer beta on a proddy server deserves all they get.

What a handy tool – but what a pain to configure if your hardware is not on the HCL!

I have a Prolient ML110G5 and although ALL of the hardware is compatible, the on boars RAID array isnt, so you cannot use it. And as I dont really want to have home servers on a non redundant array, Im a bit stuck until I can get a decent SATA raid controller that works the way I want it to.

Having converted my SBS box to a VM before hand this is a big pain.
